The limited edition 8C is based on a shortened Maserati Coupe platform. The car is powered by a 450bhp Maserati 4.7-litre V8 making.

A six-speed gearbox with paddle shifters channels power to the rear wheels and can also be operated in full automatic mode.

Prices are estimated to start at £100,000. Alfa will be producing about 500 8Cs a year, so customers will be guaranteed exclusivity when it arrives in showrooms next year.
