The first pictures of Honda’s sporty Civic Type R model have been released.

The new model will be powered by a 200bhp 2.0-litre iVTEC enginewhen it goes on sale in March.
The new Type R will also have a GT grade, which will offer extra equipment such as dual zone air conditioning and automatic rain and light sensors.
